Tech Rider for 57 A New MusicalPlease provide on stage: two armless chairs and 3 bar stools, and a carpeted riser for the drummer. The Company shall have exclusive, unrestricted access to the theater, stage and equipment for not less than four hours prior to the first performance. The stage shall be entirely cleared and in readiness prior to the arrival of the Company. The stage area, wings and dressing rooms shall be heated /cooled to 67 -75 degrees F. The minimum stage area should be 24’ wide (proscenium opening) and 15’ deep (curtain line to rear black curtain), with the proscenium opening at least 14’ high to accommodate drop. The mid-stage traveler or other curtains should be brought in to limit stage depth. The surface must be free of obstructions. There must be a quick change area both stage right and stage left which is shielded from the audience. There must be a clothes rack, light and table in each of the quick change areas. Cross over space, behind the stage or below. Cast walks into house and invites audience members onto stage. There should be stairs to audience that are safe and accessible. Draperies2-4 sets of curtain legs and borders. (black preferred)1 batten to raise the drop.Lighting/Electrical Positions and Equipment2 battens over the stage for hanging lights sufficient for 3-4 color washes.1 front of house lighting position sufficient for 3-4 color washes and 6 specials sufficient gel in colors: for front light: lots of Pink R-33 or Lee 128 and some Lavender R-54; Washes of Blue: R-80; Amber R-21 and Red: R-76; Purple/Magenta. NO GREEN (please review colors with our TD prior to show)1 (super trooper) follow spot and operator (TWO IS BETTER)36 dimmers, 2.4K capacity or greater; MINIMUM: 40 lights: 8 lekos (6 X 12’s); 22 - 8” fresnels or 30 par cansIf there is no front of house position, then two trees with capacity for 10 lights each are required.1 ladder, scaffold or cherry picker tall enough to allow safe access for focusing instruments 23’ above the stage floor. Lights should be hung, circuited, gelled and patched prior to the arrival of Company. Sound System - Company does not travel with sound system. We need to patch seven body mics into your mixing console, have your mics for piano and bass and utilize your house PA sound system. Please advise if you do not have mixer or PA. We also prefer to have three stage monitors1 piano. Give us your best instrument: upright or grand. In good tune, please1 sound reproduction system with quality amplifier and mixer1 house speaker system: Center cluster, house right and left speakers.5 stage monitors: 3 for musicians, two for singers preferably with three separate mixes.7 body microphones* 2 mics for piano and drums (by Theater) 1 direct input from bass1 communications headset system with 4-5 stations (sound, light, stage manager, 2 follow spots)1 paging system to dressing rooms/back stage Dressing and Wardrobe Areas - male & female dressing areas for cast: clean, well lighted, and equipped with chairs, mirrors and two garment racks. Rest rooms must not be used by the public or audience. Have on hand an iron and ironing board and costume steamer.Technical Crewload-in crew Setup: 1 sound technician - hook up radio mics to house PA and operate during show1 electrician to focus & gel and be lighting operator; Ability to hang 2-3 drops ( if cyc is available producers would prefer to use projections if applicable) Show: 1 sound technician 1 lighting operator2 follow spot operatorsOur technical director calls the show All personnel must be the same persons for both rehearsals and performances, load-in and load-out. The Presenter must designate a Technical Director with decision-making authority, a master Electrician, and someone familiar with the sound patching system in the facility to be present, responsible to and accessible for consultation with the Company’s technical director at all crew calls. The Company is not a “Yellow Card” attraction. IATSE stagehands are not required.

Hospitality & Lodging (provided by presenter)hotel accommodations: 11 singles Rooming List to follow Touring entourage: 11 singer/actors, 1 pianist, 1 bass, 1 drummer, 1 guitar, 1 sax, 1 technical director, 1 company manager For the performers and crew members, The presenter should provide snacks and beverages, including bottled water (at least 15), hot coffee and tea, and other items such as sandwiches, fruit, cheese, crackers and fresh vegetables plus dinner before or after the performance.
